As
rummours announced these past days,
Petter Solberg thus tested C4 today. Under a torrid heat
in the south of France, Norwegian finally could take
the wheel of the car which he claims since the beginning
of the year, as told in wrcisfree.
Solberg traversed many kilometers by connecting
the runs intersected with short pauses.
It has seems
it taken confidence at the wheel of C4, by improving
its passages. Is C4 used that which Rautenbach controlled
last year, which was its specifications? 2007? 2008?
With prioiri, it would not be about one 2009.
As during
tests 307, it is FX Demaison which supervised the meeting.
This test was it intended to make a choice for the next
year? Or has to validate a Citroen offer for the end
of the year?
Meanwhile, Malcolm Wilson stated to Motorsport News that
he would be prepared to offer a Ford Focus WRC for Solberg
to use on Rally GB in October:
"Yes, sure we would be
interested," Wilson said. "It would be a big ask for him
to get into the car and win first time out. But I'm sure
he could get a good result because, historically, ours
is quite an easy car car to get into and drive quickly.
But it would be a commercial arrangement and we could not
control where he finishes."
